Transcending Hospitality to the 21st Century

Apollo Sindoori, a leading player in hospitality service management and support services, was affiliated with the renowned Apollo Hospital Group. Despite its esteemed legacy, this 30-year-old brand faced a pivotal challenge – its communication style had seen little evolution since its inception. In the changing landscape where it now competes with international brands to fulfill the hospitality needs of corporates and hospitals, Apollo Sindoori sought to revamp its brand identity. A former partner of Faber, Malaysia, the brand aimed to independently venture into the Indian market and present a fresh image to secure investor confidence for its upcoming IPO. One MG stepped in, orchestrating a comprehensive rebranding effort to infuse new energy into the brand's communication across clients and employees.

Branding

  • As a first step in the rebranding exercise, we created a new brand identity for Apollo Sindoori.
  • A sales brochure was also designed to communicate information about the company in a fresh format.
  • A 2-grid content layout was adopted to display and upsell related information, contact details, and CTAs on the right.
  • The logo was suggestive of collaborative growth, where one hand held the other to propel business growth. The holding hands were represented with leaves, symbolic of the nature and the 4 main aspects of their business.

Website

  • Apollo Sindoori’s four business divisions of catering, hospitality, management services and restaurants were integrated into a single responsive website with a new look and feel.
  • The objective was to make each business unit sales ready for an increasingly competitive market while retaining their brand credibility and goodwill.
  • While the parent company focussed on Apollo Sindoori as a brand, the other 4 business divisions had a dedicated microsite each, all designed in line with the brand philosophy of the parent site. This was done for an improved SEO and to create a single point information delivery about each business vertical.

Social Media

  • Though Apollo Sindoori’s café, Sketch was extremely popular with the staff of the company, it was unknown to outsiders.
  • One MG designed a sumptuous Facebook campaign with physical and social events, offers and competitions to increase the popularity of the brand and to promote its delicious offerings.
